Recently, MUIS have announced this JMS and i heard a lot of parents were unhappy of this. As i am not from Madrasah school, appreciate if anyone can highlight to me the pros and the cons of this initiative.

Since Spore mosque have to find their own funds to survive, they have been organising events after events of fundrasing. Since Spore is a small island and the muslim are the minority, we are targetting the same community for funds. is there any other ways you guys can recommend to have fundsraising beside briyani amal, ayam amal and so many other food amal? give us new ideas how can mosque find their income besides selling all the food amal?
