Do Singapore companies provide prayer rooms at workplace? know the answer..?

We're relocating to Singapore in few months time, insyaallah.. actually my wife who's the one got transfer from Malaysia and I'm still looking for job..

1. Did the international companies in Singapore (motorola, seagate etc) provide prayer room for their employee? How about Friday prayer..?

2. Is it practical to use Malaysia plate car in Singapore..?

1. Most companies in sgp do not provide prayer room. If there is a prayer room in some company, it is thru the request & efforts of some employee to make available a makeshift prayer room from converted store room, staircase deck etc. with the management's permission. Different companies have different policy on Friday prayer.. pls check out with the union representative in your company & HR personal.

2. In the first place, Singaporean & Permanent Residence are not allowed to drive Msia plate car in Sgp. Work permit holder are allowed to drive Msia plate car but with a monthly valid pass. I'm not sure how much is the fees now.. many years back it was like abt $800 per mth. Pls check out with the LTA.
